Michelle Johnson

Hello, my name is Michelle, and I have been a member of NALS since 2017.  I started my second career as a legal assistant after working for a number of years in print media.  I currently work as a contract paralegal for a variety of criminal defense attorneys, as well as DAC and OPD. Recently I graduated from CLS by Barbri with a Legal Investigation certificate.

My passion is Criminal Defense and knowing that my skills are instrumental during trial prep is truly satisfying.  I recently acquired my business license and formed my own business, Johnson Legal Office Support Services, LLC.

This is my first term as Marketing Director for NALS of Washington and have served in the same position with NALS of Pierce County for several years.  I believe with the skills acquired in my current position as marketing director, print/digital/social media, the power of persuasiveness, and the support of my fellow board members, we will be able to accomplish remarkable things!

I am a homegrown Washingtonian and love the Pacific Northwest.  My favorite thing to do is spend time with family and friends at the ocean, clam digging, and beach combing.  While I love to travel, I have found that I never have to go further than my home state to find new and exciting places to explore.
